Trick or treating hours set in Fenton, Linden, Holly; other Halloween events scheduled

FENTON, Michigan — If you’ll be hitting the streets on Halloween with your kids for trick-or-treating, make sure you know the times in your area.

In Fenton, trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Halloween.

In Linden, trick-or-treating will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 on Halloween.

In Holly, trick-or-treating will take place form 6 to 8 p.m. on Halloween

Other area Halloween-centered events are:

• A Haunted Parade and Party will take place at 6 p.m. on Oct. 22 at the Fenton Community and Cultural Center. Admission is free for those dressed in costumes, $5 without one.

• Southern Lakes Parks and Recreation’s The Linden Fall Festival Trick-or-Treat Event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Linden Playground Park. Admission is $3 per child in advance or $6 at the event. Children, ages 1 to 9, can wear their costumes and trick-or-treat. Details: 810-714-2011

• The Jack R. Winegarden Library’s children’s center will have pumpkin painting at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at the library.

A Spooky Tea Party will take place at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the library. Children can dress up, hear stories and play games. Details: www.thegdl.org

• The Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s An Event So Good its Scary will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31 at participating businesses in Fenton and Linden. Details: www.fentonchamber.com
